First of, I couldn't buy this product from Amazon since it falls into mysterious category of arbitrary products that they refuse to ship to Canada. So I had to resort to buying from Tachyon's Canadian website, which wasn't that painful since they support PayPal payment system.
Pros: built-in rechargeable battery, small form-factor, multitude of mounting options, time-lapse photo functionality, price
Cons: non-standard USB connector, requiring a special cable (ships with camera)
The camera has honestly surpassed all my expectations, despite me taking a lot of time to research all of the different options out there (like Contour and GoPro) prior to making a decision to go with this one. It is the definition of "tiny", barely larger than a BIC lighter, it is more than affordable and has a built-in rechargeable battery that makes it a lot more convenient than their Mini HD model.
Video quality is excellent for the non-HD camera (more than enough to make out license plate numbers on vehicles that cut you off) and the time-lapse functionality is spectacular for long rides (I used it on the motorcycle).
One thing I want to point out separately is the optional handlebar mount that you can get for this camera. It had a surprisingly large-diameter mounting bracket, which worked out wonderfully for mounting sideways on the motorcycle front fork (since the camera can be clipped into any mount in any orientation).
The only downside I can see so far is it using a non-standard USB connector cable (as opposed to micro-USB that comes with nearly every smartphone, camera or e-book reader these days). It ships with the camera, but I imagine that if you misplaced it, you would have a hard time finding a replacement. This also means you can't use your smartphone charger to charge your camera, unless it's one of those USB-innie chargers. Inconvenient, but not a deal breaker.

Tachyon OPS "World's Smallest Helmet Camera"
I bought the Tachyon OPS from Amazon for $80. If you buy the Tachyon from the Tachyon website, you get a six month warranty. Buy it anywhere else, you get no warranty at all from Tachyon, according to Tachyon. The instructions state: "Tachyon, Inc.'s warranty policy only covers products purchased directly from Tachyon, Inc." In my opinion, that's a pretty sleazy situation. From Amazon: "Camera & Photo items purchased from Amazon.com and most sellers are easily returned within 30 days of receipt of shipment. These items must be in new condition with original packaging and accessories." The six month warranty is a good enough reason not to do what I did, buy it from Amazon.
I did call Tachyon for clarification. While initially I was told that yes, there is only a warranty if purchased direct, they would "help" owners who purchased this from Amazon. I replied if that was indeed the case, I'd mention that their warranty was extended to Amazon customers in my review on Randy Wakeman Outdoors and G & S Online. I was then told, no, the warranty did not apply to Amazon purchases and not to mention that it did. That the battery life was not as advertised was mentioned, I was told they "might" look at it and would call me right back. That call never came.
This unit is claimed to have a 2.5 hour battery life, "great for cold weather." Well, my example runs about 90-100 minutes max, well short of the 150 minutes promised. That, and the non-existent factory warranty are my two primary gripes. The third is that this unit uses a non-standard USB connector. Apparently the only reason for the non-standard connector is so Tachyon can sell you their $15 battery-powered charger. This charger may or may not work with the HD version of the unit, the Tachyon OPS HD. The instructions suggest it does, the Tachyon website says it does not. Other than these complaints, the Tachyon OPS quickly became a very pleasant surprise. You do get a generous amount of accessories right in the box. The visor clip is extremely well-done and wondrously adjustable.
After about thirty minutes of recording, this little camera pauses for five seconds to write the AVI file to your memory card, then it continues with the next file. The camera also has a time-lapse recording mode that takes a photo every two seconds, the benefit of which is dubious based on the poor battery life. But, it doesn't hurt anything by existing that I can see.
PROS: Considering the low cost and light weight of this unit (one ounce), the video quality that is full-motion, 30 fps video, is quite good, as is the audio. For general hunting and shooting use, this is an item you'll have a lot of fun with. Based on the low price, the excellent accessory array (particularly the outstanding clip mount), the good video quality, and the ease of use, I'm can recommend this little gem if poor battery life is not a concern.
CONS: They don't seem to have their warranty policy figured out yet, and the defective battery (or sorely misrepresented battery life, take your pick) was enough for me to return my unit to Amazon while I still could, gaining the distinction of being the first product I've returned to Amazon in many years.

Just got this in the mail from Tachyon on Saturday, and took it out for a ride today. I purchased this primarily for mountain biking, and although it has lots of attachment options, the top of a mountain bike helmet isn't really one of them. It's tiny and very simple to use/operate. I purchased an 8gb card to use with it. I already had the Arcsoft MediaImpression software on my computer, so that is what I will use for editing. I mounted the camera on my helmet. Anyone who rides these days with a helmet knows that helmets have vents. The attachment Tachyon supplies for helmets requires too much contact area for the dual lock tape, so it won't work. In researching helmet cams, I stumbled upon some other options. I ended up using a dremel to cut two slots along side of the helmet mount, and ran velcro straps through the slots, and secured them through a couple vents on the helmet. I cut an old bicycle tube and put it under the curved mount to provide some grip on the helmet. My first time out, I think the camera is pointed a little low, so I will have to move it up a tad. All in all, I enjoyed using it. The video quality is quite satisfactory for a ~$90 camera. It's really difficult to discern the steepness of the trail, but I think it will be fun to make videos to share. The sound quality is so so. You can hear some electrical interference, which is why tachyon recommends using music. I am going to try and construct a tripod mount for the helmet. We all know the helmet is the best location for an action cam. A bar mount would likely make everyone viewing the video sick from going back and fourth.
Great little camera for the price. There are better options out there, but not in this price range. I wanted small and light, and the Tachyon Ops can't be beat.
