This camera as the package deal was a great choice. The camera is easy to use and the battery life is impressive. I did read some reviews about the battery charger and someone having to buy a charger because it wasn't included, I myself thought that as well when I opened it up for first inspection but soon found that the USB cord on the camcorder is ingeniously tucked into the hand strap.
I'm a beginner at camcording so maybe many are built that way but that to me was a pleasant little surprise! We took it to Hawaii on a 2 week vacation and it did magnificent. The changeover from video to still camera mode and back was simple.

What an amazing camcorder bundle for such a great low price, I got mine and I am thrilled with the quality of this camcorder, I use it indoors and outdoors without any issue with low light etc.

Great concept of bundling, however, there's no way to charge this as shipped. Having no way to charge the batteries you soon find yourself investing another $40 and that of course makes this no longer such a "good buy."
